TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Due to the softness of tissue paper (1/5 flatspot) jumbo rolls require special transport and wrapping methods.
In case of normal non tissue paper rolls, motor driven rollers have always been the best solution for rolls rotation.
The behaviour of these rolls is clearly shown in figure.

The cylindrical body of the tissue paper roll laying on two rollers is in contact with a rather wide area.
The outer area is subject to trailing, compression and cutting, causing permanent damages.

Thanks to the new concept, developed and patented by FIS IMPIANTI and clearly shown in illustrations, it is possible to solve these problems through a "deformable" conveyor.

The conveyor "respects" the softness of the roll, which distributes its weight on a wider and duly shaped area.

The deformable conveyor find its proper use in Axial 96 e Axial 93.
Both offer the hereby mentioned features.
Both have been designed to wrap paper rolls
- axial method - by means of LLDPE stretching film covering the whole roll, both on heads and on the body.
During axial wrapping, the film laid onto the roll creates air bubbles granting protection against shocks and moisture.
The protection degree can be modified by varying the thickness of the wrapping film, its waving (thus increasing the quantity of air bubbles) and the quantity of layers onto the roll.

AXIAL 96

Axial 96 is a rotating platform "semiautomatic" machine because fixing, sealing and cutting of film (start and end of cycle) are manual while all the other operations are automatic.

The photo represent the fully automatic version machine, requiring no manual intervention .

AXIAL 93

Axial 93 is a high output, fully automatic rotating arm wrapping machine to be inserted into complete handling lines .
