87 ARJ

 

87 ARJ conceived to meet the hardest needs as for loose or packaged reams in papermills.The method refers to the hooding principle with shrinking polythene sacks but it is much better since the material used to fit the whole pallet dimensions range is shrinkable film on reels (H =500mm) thickness 60-100microns for side wrapping and 100-140 microns for top covering.The top sheet thickness can be chosen according to specific needs while the side wrapping can be modified through the control keyboard giving preference to the weight of the film or the stiffness of wrapping in specific areas of the pallet or on the whole side covering.

The machine has also been conceived to wrap pallets under an adjustable pressure from 250 to 1250kgs. This pushes out air between sheets and grants a greater stiffness during transport. The presser is motor driven synchronised with the base platform through mechanical transmission.To fit the different pallet dimensions, it is composed of two concentric bodies: this means that at least one of the two sections is always in touch with the pallet during wrapping cycle. The above, together with the modification of the wrapping pitch which results in air bubbles after shrinking, gives the machine a great flexibility and the possibility to meet different needs.

For this machine, special conveyors have been conceived completely free from vibrations so that the load shape is not modified before wrapping. 87ARJ machine, if fed by a normal mixing of pallets, grants an hour output of 60 pallets, with 67 pallets peaks. Another important feature contributing to the high hour output of 87 ARJ is the double jumbo film reel for perimetral wrapping.The jumbo film reel houses up to 2 x 250kgs film reels (that is, with a great autonomy) of which one is put on cycle while the other one behaves as a stock, to be used immediately without stopping the machine. The empty reel can be replaced while the other one is working.

Scope of the project is to obtain a special packaging for concrete sacks:
1) granting perfect waterproof conditions
2) granting the use of fork lifts for handling and stocking in the warehouse, without using the standard wooden pallet.

Hour output: 50 pallets

CYCLE DESCRIPTION
Sacks come from a palletiser to the wrapping line shaped as per figure. The load is then first hooded with forks edge up. The film is shrinked throught a kiln. Once left the kiln, the shape of the forks is rather irregular and it is restored to best shape by means of a corner shaper .

An up - ender brings the pallet to final position with the above edge toward the conveyor. The last operations consists in another hooding, with film overlapping so that the two layers are shrunk together when passing through the second kiln.
A buffer conveyor approx 3mt long for perfect hoods stabilization on the goods thus granting perfet watertight protection.
Goods can now be handled and stocked properly.
