It is driven by pneumatic pistons .
The whole group is completed by an electrical control on the board of the machine and by an electrical panel in case the machine is delivered separately.
The first rubber roller, in touch with film reel, is driven through speed variator coupled with the motor driving the second rubber roller. By acting on speed variator, the speed ratio of the two rollers may be varied, thus reaching the wished prestretch ratio which can be visualised on the OP display. It is possible to modify the prestretch ratio by replacing some gearing couples.
The second rubber roller is driven by an AC motor with speed variation through an inverter. The inverter is controlled by relevant potentiometer controlled by a dancer. In this way the unit gives a perfect wrapping while allowing the maximum film saving. A set of idle rollers completes the unit.
The machine will be enclosed by a sturdy safety net, 2mt height, safely placed away from the moving parts of the machine itself. The surrounding net is fitted with an ingate for operations/maintenance and is equipped as standard with certified safety limit switch controlled by alarms box outside the PLC.
Protection against possible entrance sudden or not authorised people entry through pallet infeeding/outfeeding areas will be manufactured as follows using certified components:
All emergency mushrooms buttons are controlled out from PLC by relevant certified alarm control box. All the alarm control boxes mentioned so far disconnect PLC infeedings in case of alarm.
It consists of a frame
to be fixed anywhere on the floor aside the wrapping line (within the
safety nets). The whole group adjustable in height is fitted with two
metal, electrically heated, nonsticking wheels. The frame holds two arms
kept in touch with the pallet by means of springs. After a preset time,
a pneumatic cylinder takes the wheels away from the pallet. The wheels
melt and stick the film tail while the pallet moves along on the conveyor.
It can be used also with irregular side surface pallets. The pallet should
not be stopped for sealing as normally happens in case of hot bar sealing
units and there is no risk to pierce the film in case of rough surface
(bottles, for example). It can be easily assembled and installed, it can
replace any other sealing device and is completely independent thanks
to its separate electrical panel.
